Cladding
We have 5 options available to you for the cladding finish on any of our products.
Overlap is the most simple and easy to produce cladding for a wooden shed. The overlap build style features horizontal panels overlapping each other, with the bottom of each slat going over the top of the next.
Matchboard by definition is a board with a groove cut along one edge and a tongue along the other so as to fit snugly with the edges of similarly cut boards.
Originally used to waterproof ships, shiplap is a type of wood panelling with a rabbet (groove) cut at the top and bottom of each board so that they overlap to form a tight seal.
Loglap pieces together using the popular tongue and groove system and has a curved finish replicating a similar finish to a log cabin.
Waney Edge Embrace the natural beauty of wood with our Waney Edge Boards. These unique timber boards feature the raw, irregular edges of the tree, showcasing the wood’s natural shape and grain. Along with traditional felted roofs, we also offer both a rubber roof and Onduline corrugated sheet roof,
as an alternative finish to all of our sheds and summer houses.

Choose your perfect finish with Barrettine Wood Preserver, included at no extra cost. Our carefully selected range of colours allows you to personalise the appearance of your building while providing a durable, protective finish to the timber. The full Barrettine colour range is available to view in our showroom, so you can see the finishes for yourself before making your choice.
For those looking for something a little different, we also offer the full range of Cuprinol shades shown below as an additional-cost option. Alternatively, if you already have a specific exterior paint you would like us to use, we can apply your own supplied paint to your building.
